With a background in conformation, agility, obedience &  nose works, The Balanced Canine brings a special set of skills and understanding to the table for clients who need a practitioner who understands their sport and their goals.

Sacha Packer is an ex-pat Kiwi who started her journey in developing The Balanced Canine when her heart dog, a beautiful 13-year-old Black Great Dane named Leila developed a degenerative spinal condition that no one was able to help.

Beginning with studies in Acupuncture then onto Myofunctional Therapy and then onto Body Adjustments, The Balanced Canine was born – a multi-modality residential clinic that has a range of tools up its sleeve.

Today, The Balanced Canine offers a range of services to help dogs become “Balanced” in a holistic sense and working with a range of industry professionals, they have a good network of professionals they can refer onto when a dog presents conditions outside of their scope of skills.

Nutritional consults are suited to apparently healthy dogs, dogs with medical conditions will be referred onto a Vet Nutritionist.
